My sleep pattern is bad enough without this assault on my wellbeing.
As P and I often say, old age is not for the faint-hearted.

6 Summary
1 Raynaud's disease
Raynaud's affects your blood circulation. When you're cold, anxious or stressed, your fingers and toes may change colour.
Other symptoms can include:
- pain
- numbness
- pins and needles
- difficulty moving the affected area source
I am fortunate enough to be afflicted only in my toes. However the pain level (PL) can reach 10.
Treatment for Raynaud's from a GP
If your symptoms are very bad or getting worse, a GP may prescribe a medicine to help improve your circulation, such as nifedipine, which is used to treat high blood pressure.
Some people need to take this medicine every day. Others only use it to prevent Raynaud's - for example, during cold weather. source
Of no use to me as I have low blood pressure.
2 Back pain
The PL can reach 10.
3 Knee pain
PL 10
Back and knee pain work together to defeat stair-climbing. It is only achieved one level at a time and a lot of pulling on the bannister. Hence overeaching to the night.
4 Acid reflux
A long list of pills has been tried over many months. Raising the head-end of the bed has been tried.
Here Neither of us suffers the Covid insomnia. Every day is another day of happiness.
Any of the previous items can cause me a trip into the study to add more text to this site.
However, insomnia is the main cause.
