1   Time-tensing

The past has had a hammering.  The present needs definition before the future can be shaped or determined.

2   Avoid getting up.

  1. It is Friday 7 January and it marks two weeks after the event. 
  2. The advice in the Telegraph yesterday reduces to "One tip is to focus on the physical connection between your body and bed to help anchor your attention to the present. Avoid getting up, switching on lights, having a cup of tea, or anything that moves you further away from sleep."  (last paragraph here)
  3. In three words the advice is avoid getting up.
